Do we offer all services at each location?
No! Please check our online booking for the most up to date service list per location.
McIlvenna Mine is RMT services only. Saskatoon has our entire service list! Creighton has permanent RMT services, and Physio/Reflex/Esthetics once per month dates depending.
Do we offer direct billing to insurance?
Yes we do for RMT and Physiotherapy services. We do not ever guarantee the ability to direct bill due to reasons such as portal outages, insurance declines, and insurance must be provided or updated prior to the start of your appointment.
Outages are only reported on our social media @saltandstonesask Facebook/Instagram you will not be contacted.
Are gift cards usable at all locations?
Yes! Whether you purchase a gift card directly through us, purchase a Fresha gift card (redeemable at any verified Fresha location) or Wayspa these gift cards can be redeemed at any Salt and Stone location in Saskatchewan.
Can I book multiple services in one visit?
Yes, we encourage guests to explore multiple services. You can book a combination of massages, reflexology, and esthetician treatments for a comprehensive wellness experience. Our team can help you customize the perfect appointment tailored to your needs.
How can I prepare for my massage or treatment?
To ensure the best experience, arrive a few minutes early to complete any necessary forms and allow yourself to relax. Wear comfortable clothing to your appointment, and communicate any specific concerns or preferences to your therapist or esthetician during your session.
Do we accept walk ins?
No, we are by appointment only at all locations!
What are our booking and confirmation policies?
When booking online you will be prompted to confirm with a valid debit or credit card - this is mandatory during the booking process to allow for direct billing, and prevent last minute cancellations and no shows. Our system accepts all major credit cards including Discover and Amex - alongside almost all debit cards. This automatically confirms your appointment when completing the process.
When booking over the phone or in person you will receive texts and/or emails asking you to confirm your appointment with the same steps outlined above. Failure to do so 24 hours before your appointment results in a system auto cancellation. If an unconfirmed appointment gets cancelled it opens it up for other bookings - we cannot guarantee the same time/treatment/therapist is available if it gets rebooked.
Exceptions are made for children under 18, and seniors over 70 - all cancellation and no show policies are in effect for all clients.
What are our cancellation and no show policies?
Appointments cancelled 24 hour or less in advance are charged a 50% cancellation fee.
Appointments no showed are charged a 100% cancellation fee.
Percentage is based on service total.
Our staff are contractors and do not get paid if you do not show up! All reminders are courtesy only, clients are responsible for all appointments booked.
Can I bring my child to my appointment?
We do allow children in the building! Please note if your child is disruptive it may result in a terminated treatment to not disturb other clients. Children under the age of 12 are not permitted to sit in reception without an adult present. Children of all ages are not permitted to roam around the clinic or enter rooms unsupervised.
Children are 100% allowed to book treatments - at any age!
What happens if Salt and Stone cancels on you?
We try to be as respectful as possible! Just like with our clients emergencies happen - we will go out of our way to find an alternative therapist for your appointment.
If something occurs and we have to cancel your appointment less than 6 hours in advance we will put a $20 credit on your account for a future service.

Accepted payment methods?
We accept all forms of debit, and all major credit cards including Discover and Amex.
Gift cards can be used directly purchased from Salt and Stone, Fresha gift cards, or Wayspa gift cards.
Insurance is not guaranteed and available for only RMT and Physiotherapy services.
Etransfer is accepted as long as received while in the building.
Cash is accepted only at Saskatoon and Creighton locations.
Do you offer discounts and promotions?
Yes! We have promotions every single month on differing services. Promotions can be pre-booked up to 3 months in advance. Keep an eye out for the % icons in our online booking.
Do we offer prenatal massage?
Yes we do! If you are in your 1st trimster, or experiencing any medical monitoring or complications we require an applicable doctors note from your doctor prior to treatment. Please avoid booking any treatment other than prenatal sidelying or bolster treatments as numerous treatments are not suitable for pregnancy, and not all therapists treat prenatal. Salt and Stone is not liable for any costs related to refused treatment due to incorrectly booked services.
What ages can receive services?
This is dependent per service category. Clients of all ages can receive Massage therapy, Physiotherapy and Reflexology. Laser Therapy and Esthetics range 16-18+ and are service dependent. Esthetics does have some child friendly options!
What is included in my treatments?
Depending on the service it will include an assessment to ensure we can provide you with the most customized serivce, followed by your service and homecare. All treatments come with water access, hair ties if you need and more. If you ever need anything additional please communicate with your service provider!
Do we bill for Motor Vehicle and Workplace accidents?
Yes we do for RMT and Physiotherapy only. Please note that RMT billing for these claims are only available with select MTAS therapists. All we need is your claim number! Workplace RMT requests require pre-approval but all other services can have immediate billing start times.
